Boundry Dam Reservoir, SK
Boundary Dam Reservoir is a man-made lake in the south-east corner of the province. The Boundary Dam was built in 1957 on Long Creek so that a reservoir could supply water to the power station & the City of Estavan.
Boundary Dam Reservoir is the go-to lake for Largemouth bass in Saskatchewan. In fact, its the only place to go.
Due to the nearby power plant, the water is much warmer, which makes it possible for the largemouth to thrive. The lake, in some parts, never even freezes.
Summer is the best time of year to fish bass.
Largemouth tend to enjoy weedy areas and even like to make their homes near the residential cabins, hiding in dock areas. They are most active at dusk and dawn.
